Another thing that you might want to try if you have a lot of content that you'd like to get rid of, there's sort of a secret, somewhat finicky workaround where when you're working between two Classic Editor sections, you actually can click an element and move it to a different section.
00:24
It works best between neighboring sections.
00:27
It's really difficult to move them across something.
00:30
A divide further than that.
00:31
like you don't want to click and then just start scrolling and drop it.
00:35
It does work, but it's extremely finicky.
00:38
So let's just say I just duplicated this section.
00:42
Change the color so we can see the difference between the two.
00:44
But they are both Classic Editor sections.
00:47
For right now.
00:48
If I, for example, wanted to maybe delete these three elements, so that means that I have more elements in this section that I want to keep than I want to delete, I could.
01:12
And while that's not necessarily faster, it does work in that I would just delete this entire section and all the content that I just moved into it.
01:23
So you can try that.
01:25
So that's an interesting, slightly creative workaround.
01:29
Can be fiddly.
01:33
You can't do that between Fluid Engine and Classic Editor.
01:39
So if you do have both editors on the same page, you're not going to be able to move content between them.
01:45
You also can't go back from Fluid Engine to Classic Editor.
01:49
So if you do convert the section, make sure you really, really are sure that you want to keep that section as Fluid Engine before you hit save.
01:57
Because if you converted it and you decide you don't want Fluid Engine, once you say that change is done, it's saved in the code like it's converted.
02:06
There's no looking back.
02:07
But if you convert the section to Fluid Engine like I just did, and see now this top section is Fluid Engine.
02:16
If I discard my changes and I don't save what I just did back in to the edit mode, you'll notice it does not say Fluid Engine version.
02:29
That's your only workaround.
02:30
If you want to test it but you're not sure, just remember, do not save it if you convert it.
02:35
Otherwise you're stuck with Fluid Engine.
02:38
You will have to recreate it in Classic Editor.
02:40
If you have access to Classic Editor, not everybody will.
02:44
And I don't know for how long.
02:48
It.
