How to Set Up Claude Cowork Before the Workshop

Two steps before the day.

Step 1 - Download the Claude desktop app at claude.ai. Cowork only works through the app, not the browser version.

Step 2 - Once you're logged in, upgrade to Pro from your account settings (around $29/month). That unlocks the Cowork module.

Once you're set up, have a look at two things before you arrive:

1. Connecting your apps - Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar. This is where the power kicks in.

2. Skills - these are the building blocks for everything we do on the day.
