Streamlining Development with Multiple AI Tools 🛠️

I figured a video might be an easier way to explain why I'm using a different tool other than Claude to build this thing out.

I'm using Claude pretty heavily for the like MVP or the what's called the PRD or product review design.

to really I guess make sure that the design and the framework and everything is what I want before I go and throw it into a different compiling and development tool.

and so what's great is you know, I'm using Claude like it's almost like my co developer I guess at this point I'm not a developer but I can basically ask it questions or you know, keep it up to speed with the other tool and then it will provide recommendations on, you know, tell it to do this to get this type of result.

So being able to almost use 2llms is a huge win for this.

especially because I don't you know, want to spend.

It's not so much that I can't read HTML or code, but I just don't want to spend my time doing that.

but fill out this tool there, it's kind of like a, it's very similar to like replit or Lovable or Cursor, with the exception that it actually started as a fill or a form fill tool.

So a form generator.

And what that allows you to do is actually use CLAUDE as the primary LLM when you're actually building or planning.

But then two, you can actually already bring in native integrations.

So you can see like for beyond the bid, I already have databases built out for users, in terms of being able to segment homeowners from contractors.

And then I have OpenAI that will actually do the matching for me based off of certain filters and workflows.

So you can see there's a whole workflow component, there's multiple databases that you can build in homeowners, contractors, project matches, and then being able to also build in other integrations here like OpenAI, the its own native database fill out of course.

So that form generator notion, because I think you might be on notion, there's just a lot of integrations that one are already built in and then two that are coming.

but what's also really cool is you know, I can just basically click on certain components in the actual app as it's being developed or as it's being worked through and tell the AI model to change that particular element instead of having to Go through and you know, do the whole thing.

about, it's underneath the H1 or it's under the subtitle or whatever.

I can actually just hit edit and tell it exactly what I want changed, which is awesome, in my opinion.

I'm not sure if replit or level will have that option yet.

but yeah, so Zeit has been really cool for those components.

I know it uses Sonnet, Claude Sonnet as its own, kind of LLM that helps you code and build it out.

So what I like to do is I'll actually use Opus, the 4.5 model in a thread and kind of keep that in pace with Zeit telling it, hey, you know, I want to add this component in and then I'll have Zeit actually plan that out before it builds it.

Then I'll bring the plan over into Claude and have Claude kind of, Digest it and provide feedback on it.

But yeah, pretty.

I mean, I.

The most amount of time I've spent on this is actually in NotebookLM kind of digesting, all of the information from the problems in current residential con with, you know, homeowners having to spend so much time vetting contractors before they, you know, bring them into their house as well as contractors just having a hard time being able to showcase their services and their skill sets.

And so being able to take all of that research and throw it into Notebook has been super helpful for, you know, compiling or really, getting clarity on the idea for an app and then being able to go from here and take this research and feed it to Claude.

So Claude has us.

Has so much more of a better idea of what problem I actually want to solve before it goes to MVP or even before it goes to that product review design that I was talking about.

so that's actually where I would start if I were you.

You're talking about right.

I would focus on use a tool like Notebook and gather as much research as you can on that subject, bring it in here.

And then once you have, Once you're comfortable with the, the, The The sheer amount of research that you have, then start to incorporate that knowledge over into Claude or whatever LLM you want and say, hey, here's the idea that I want to do.

Here's the problem, here's the context, here's everything I know about it.

what questions can I help answer before we go to PRD or before we go to mvp?

In any case, that workflow has been really helpful for me just to get a little bit more clarity on how to actually go about this, yeah, would love to know your.

Your thoughts on, you know, how to make this thing better.

And, I mean, it's just me building it out, right, with two LLM, so it's not that complicated yet.
