Gamma | Assets vs. Websites

Just figured this might be a little bit more fun.

so about the question of when to use a Gamma versus a full website.

I've gone a little bit back and forth on this and I'll just show you kind of what I've come up with or what I'm currently using.

to start I'm actually using website to host my client portal on.

So if I go here, this is just a Gamma website.

And then when a user or client actually clicks on either link to toolbox or toolkit here, this actually takes them to a Gamma that's password protected.

So this Gamma is kind of like their primary space that they can access all different tools that are, vibe coded apps or assets, or just direct links.

And because this is password protected it offers a little bit more flexibility in terms who can access it a little bit more security that way.

But it also gives me better analytics on who's accessing it and from where.

So that way when I'm doing tutorials or onboarding or whatever, I can actually make sure that my clients are using the tools in the correct way they're finding them.

Right.

I really couldn't do if I was just relying on a website alone.

So one.

Pagers though are a little bit different because it all depends on how you want to use them.

If you're using it to generate more traffic for your site then of course you want it to be Online compliant or being able to be sourced through a crawler, in any case?

Or if you're not doing that and if it's something that's protected or that you need to give access to only a certain number of clients, then I would definitely recommend just using a Gamma presentation or a document and then password protecting that.

So even though it's not as looking at the URL, it's not going to match your domain.

More than likely you get a lot more analytics, a lot more data to back it.

I likely have a set of four different assets and the toolkit will link to each one of them.

Yeah.

So I would do the same thing that I'm doing here realistically.

So if you have four different assets, you can think of them as these modules.

And then I'm literally just linking or embedding a link to different assets in here.

And some of them are actually other gamma, pages.

I could password protect it.

again, I'm just using this gamma to link to that gamma, and I can get analytics on both of these pages, essentially.
