00:07

00:11
So thank you for subscribing.
00:13
It is issue two of our brand new newsletter.
00:16
I wanted to walk you through some of the stuff that we've got inside here.
00:19
And this month's subscriber exclusive newsletter is really cracking.
00:23
Actually in it I look at seven, that's six, seven science backed models that you can use to truly build team trust.
00:31
I think in this moment it has never been more important for leaders to get closer to their people, to help them feel inspired and engaged, to truly feel like their work is going somewhere and having an impact.
00:42
And if you're planning a sales kickoff in January and February, if you want to start the year well, then you really have to look at some of these models.
00:50
I'll be exploring them in some of the keynotes that I'm delivering at company kickoffs or off sites and conferences in the first quarter of January to March.
00:58
So do make sure that you check those out.
01:00
Lots of easy things that you can apply and take away.
01:02
Then a summary of just some of the work that I've been doing over the course of the last month or so.
01:07
I loved joining my friends travel counsellors in Liverpool in the uk.
01:10
That was great fun.
01:11
Got to do an event in Ireland which was a real change.
01:15
Lovely to be able to do something at home with Clancy Construction was a great event.
01:20
And then working with our friends at meetings Professional international, Brian and Olivia did an amazing job on running that.
01:27
Then I had virtual events for an old climate of mine, Kenos with teams dialing in from Argentina, Indianapolis and Toronto.
01:34
And if you've never visited, by the way, all three of those cities are basically identical to Ireland.
01:41
Anyway, some other things that you might want to check out here.
01:45
Some really.
01:46
We've all heard about Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
01:49
You did it at school?
01:50
I did it at school.
01:51
Didn't think it had any resonance or application, but I've started to think about it a lot recently and so I took a little bit of time to reimagine it for the modern world and to see how you can apply it to achieve team motivation, especially in challenging times.
02:05
You know, at the moment it's really tough out there.
02:07
In the United Kingdom we've just had a brand new budget.
02:11
In the United States there are a lot of changes happening economically, socially and politically that are making some things tough.
02:18
Inside organizations, pushing a reset button and looking back at the basics of what makes people feel good about the work that they're doing can be really powerful and useful.
02:28
And this is a hidden gem from my LinkedIn.
02:31
This is one that, didn't do that well.
02:33
Not many people saw it.
02:34
But I really think it's important.
02:35
It's about how you bring authentic voices of your team alive in the work that you're doing every day.
02:41
And then this is such a great example of occasionally you find something on TikTok that really sparks some creativity inside you.
02:49
I don't want to ruin it, but if you want to click on this, it will show you how some unexpected consequences can achieve some pretty amazing things.
02:56
If you want to read my latest Forbes article in Forbes magazine, then you can click on that, and take a little look there.
03:02
But there we have it.
03:03
Thank you so much for being a subscriber.
03:06
Share this with the people on your team so they can learn some good stuff as well.
03:09
But more importantly, if you are planning an event in 2026, then drop me a line.
03:15
I would love to come and deliver a keynote on the science of sales.
03:19
Persuasion, influence, motivation, mindset, high performance, the psychology of everything.
03:23
Why not?
03:24
I mean, it's a good way to kick off 2026 for now.
03:27
I have to record a podcast shortly, so stay tuned on LinkedIn where you'll see some clips that.
03:32
But for now, I'm going to wish you a good week and I'll catch you in the next issue.
